Hi, There is a FTBFS bug filed against libjson-ruby, #465673, that I wanted to try to fix. I saw that Paul had uploaded a package with a much newer version of the upstream program (1.1.1). I also saw in the changelog that he had problems with the upstream tarball, and he had to repack with a couple of changes. Paul, did you talk to upstream to try to sort the issues out? I see that at least the data/ directory issue is still there in the next, 1.1.2 version. Also, I downloaded the modified orig tarball, and tried to build the package again, but I end up with *.so files in libruby1.8 (Architecture: all!). How can that be possible? I'm not changing anything in the source package. Paul, do you have to do anything unusual to build the package? Probably the fix is just adding ruby1.8-dev to the Build-Deps, but I can't do it now, because I would add the *.so files to libruby1.8. So, can someone have a look? -- Esteban Manchado Velázquez <zoso@debian.org> EuropeSwPatentFree - http://EuropeSwPatentFree.hispalinux.es Help spread it through the Net in signatures, webpages, whatever!
