Unsatisfactory situation of debian.org XMPP server
Hi,
I heard from some DDs that they refuse to use the XMPP server,
because it is not yet configured well.
Currently, the compliance test suite supports their doubts:
running XEP-0045: Multi-User Chat… FAILED
running XEP-0065: SOCKS5 Bytestreams (Proxy)… FAILED
running XEP-0191: Blocking Command… FAILED
running XEP-0313: Message Archive Management… FAILED
running XEP-0352: Client State Indication… FAILED
running XEP-0357: Push Notifications… FAILED
running XEP-0363: HTTP File Upload… FAILED
(see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=836803#10)
IMHO, it should not be too hard to fix some of the FAILs by
installing the latest prosody-modules and configure accordingly.
Is there any way I could help or support?
Cheers
