Let's try to avoid mixing upstream DEBs and Debian DEBs for X2Go Server / X2Go Client.
I will test multiple session startups with X2Go packages from vanilla Debian on a Debian testing system the coming week and report back.
Please let me know the settings you use in X2Go Client for starting up your session.
Make sure you _don't_ use "Connect to local desktop" (as that only allows sharing an already running desktop session). Here you can experience situation that seem like you are only able to launch one session at a time.
Can you, at least, launch multiple... say XFCE sessions... for different users on one server?
