It seems there has been some misunderstanding on my side.

In my mind, I wanted to not "escalate" this to the team and
give Sebastian the chance to take care of this himself, which
is why I pinged him on Monday after not hearing since Wednesday
and then only send the email today after it's been a total of
8 days.

I understand now that I should have just asked the team directly,
and want to apologize if I caused any grief. The whole merged-usr
topic is pretty heated, and I realize that the way I mistakingly
framed this was not the most constructive way to make progress.
