Although that is true, we don't export that info as part of the excuses,
except for package that are out-of-sync between unstable and testing. I
hope you don't propose to make something new for all packages as I'm not
too interested to start generating such output. Maybe it's just simpler
if from the start of the freeze the tracker stops hinting packages along
until the release. As although technically allowed, new upstream
releases most often aren't appropriate anymore once the (soft) freeze
starts and maybe shouldn't be hinted anymore even during the transition
freeze. So, maybe all the tracker needs is the freeze date and the
release date.
