Please unblock appstream/0.10.6-2
Here's the changelog with further explanations on the changes:

A tiny patch just to make the life of people using Vala a bit easier.
Has pretty much zero regression potential.
See https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-packagekit/appstream.git/tree/debian/patches/01_vala-deps.patch

Fixes a type that's happening when serializing certain kinds of
AppStream metadata. We didn't hit this in Debian yet, but it's quite
certain that it will appear soon for someone if this bug isn't fixed.
See https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-packagekit/appstream.git/tree/debian/patches/02_yaml-serialize-crash.patch

This issue will pretty much never happen in Debian and it's not a real
crash, but it's rather annoying behavior. It was hitting the Endless
Debian derivative.
It's a trivial fix that makes AppStream more robust:
https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-packagekit/appstream.git/tree/debian/patches/03_no-cache-if-no-cpts.patch

> * no-gvfsd-root.patch: Ensure gvfsd and friends don't get spawned as
> root (or at all in case of ascli). (Closes: #852696)

This is another simple patch resolving the issue reported in #852696.
It makes appstreamcli running as root slightly safer and will result
in less sysadmins scratching their heads over where the gvfs processes
are coming from.
See https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-packagekit/appstream.git/tree/debian/patches/04_no-gvfsd-root.patch

This package revision has been in Debian Unstable and Ubuntu Zesty for
a while without any reported problems.
It contains no other changes except for the addition of the patches
mentioned above.

Kind regards,
    Matthias
