Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org
Usertags: transition

Upstream has removed two symbols from the ABI: json_tokener_errors and
mc_abort, and at least json_tokener_errors is used in at least one
package, so we cannot simply ignore that. Thus I had to bump
SOVERSION to 3 forcing a transition.

New package has been update to experimental and is sitting in NEW. It
will cause some FTBFS (two or three), but I will fix those before the
transition ends.

Ben file:

title = "json-c";
is_affected = .depends ~ "libjson-c2" | .depends ~ "libjson-c3";
is_good = .depends ~ "libjson-c3";
is_bad = .depends ~ "libjson-c2";
