In bug report #707219 you wrote about bug #810785:

So here it is March 3, tonight I've tried to install Debian Testing, on a new
to me laptop, and I've run into a failure at the 'Select and Install Software'
step. Opening a shell and looking at syslog reveals that the problem is bug
#810785. Now what to do. If there is any workaround I'd love to know what it
is?

Best Regards, Allen
