Right now is OK. Please make sure to target wheezy in your changelog
though. ;-)

Given that this kind of things happens from time to time, it might be a
good idea to have a few #define instead of patching this and that part
of the code. Might be nice for upstream to implement in the next releases.

I don't think we would mind having to review a squeeze upload if you
want to prepare one.
