The patch looks okay, but I'd prefer to see a debdiff against the stable
package before giving a final ack (preferably versioned as 1:2.3.14-7.1
+deb7u1, or I guess 1:2.3.14-8 if that has never previously been used
and you'd prefer).

Were you planning on fixing the issue in squeeze as well?
