If this is the only problem, then I would be inclined to leave it. A quick
tot-up on my Wheezy box looks like it's about 1.5Mb wastage, unpacked. They
seem to be identical files.
Should libnss3 need an update in a point release, that might be an
opportunity to clear this up, depending on whoever reviews such a request
at the time.
Meanwhile if you are confident that this does not cause any actual issues
I propose to leave it be.
