You might not think that it was (although you didn't explain why you
think what Julien said was incorrect), but you're wrong.

I checked with:

$ rmadison gnome-themes-standard

That's UDD-backed, which means it'll be subject to whatever sync / import delay there is between the archive and UDD. As you're a DD, if you want to know what the state of the archive is, ask dak on ries; that's (partly) what it's there for.

That's also not real-time. Right now, however, it does say "Ignoring block request by freeze, due to unblock request by jcristau".

grep-excuses pulls the data from ftp-master, so will show the excuses generated at the beginning of the last run (which would have been good enough in this case to demonstrate the unblock). Also, both hints files and britney logs are publicly available. If you want to know if someone's added a hint, check their hints file. ;-)
