Thanks for cloning the bug!

I'm not sure how useful it is to keep the original bug attached to the
package, though, as it's essentially reporting a resolved state,
rather than a new bug.

Noted. If you could point me to the number of the cloned bug, I'll
gladly continue the procedure there. :)

[ It might be useful for the BTS to automatically add the maintainer
of whichever package is concerned by an unblock request in the loop,
since it might have been filed by someone else. Right now, the
maintainer might not even be aware of such a request, since the BTS
only mails the maintainer of "package" release.debian.org ]

Right, this was pulled from our upstream Git, since it's needed to
apply later fixes. While it *is* a huge diff, it's essentially
harmless, since the pretty-printing was performed with an X release
macro.

Right and seeing what happened with python-apt, I'm starting to think
that debdiff's are best attached to the bug itself and merely
mentioned in the debian-release thread, so as to avoid clogging the
mailing list. :)
