I was rather hoping that the manual page updates might have landed in
unstable in the meantime, to be honest; even if they are "just"
documentation, it would have given people a chance to highlight any
issues with the changes and there's no real need (imho) to wait for an
upstream release in order to apply a documentation change.
fwiw, the last debdiff you supplied doesn't appear to include the below
change; otoh, it does fix an instance of the problem which isn't the one
I highlighted. ;-)
