Without this fix, a user who got a kFreeBSD DVD would see it show an error and then download everything via the net. Additionally, this fix makes "apt-cdrom add" and "mount /cdrom" work on kFreeBSD. I think this is RC for kFreeBSD, and kFreeBSD developers seem to concur. All code changes are conditionalized to only affect kFreeBSD. Diff attached.
