These are the reasons for the removal request, copied from bug #602694: - I'm leaving my current company and can not be sure whether I'll continue using zookeeper. - I don't feel confident enough yet to maintain such a complicate package in Debian stable. - I'd like to cooperate with upstream to get them involved in the packaging and have their commitment for a long term support version of zookeeper.
