In addition, the maintainer emailed to Bug #592417 that he prefers to simply remove the package from squeeze: thank you all for caring for the mgltools, but I think this is all too late and too uncertain for us to proceed for squeeze. I already got this confirmed by the release managers. We should now bet on backports and I'll have autodocktools and mgltools-* removed from squeeze. This shall a) help us by having only the latest versions of the mgltools with Debian b) prevent us from shipping something that most certainly has more issues, still, than the ones now corrected for.
