It also includes this undocumented change:

+       rm -rf $(DEB_DESTDIR)usr/share/php/.registry/.channel.doc.php.net
        # move man pages to correct location
        mv $(DEB_DESTDIR)usr/share/doc/php-kolab-filter/man
$(DEB_DESTDIR)usr/share/

-       rmdir $(DEB_DESTDIR)usr/share/php/.registry/.channel.doc.php.net ||:

If the directory's empty, why the change to use "rm -rf" instead of "rmdir"?
