Hi, I'm asking for a freeze exception for a new upstream release of XSane; this upstream release fixes two bugs: - malformed PDF files; the release only fixes one occurrence of the bug, and both occurrences were already fixed in Debian with 0.995-6. Debian patch updated to fix the remaining case in this version. - viewer window could maximize too much when viewing big scans, resulting in a window that cannot be moved with the mouse because no handles are on the screen. Pretty annoying bug, especially for novice users. These are the only changes between 0.995 and 0.996 upstream; upstream diff is attached for review. Debian changelog: xsane (0.996-1) unstable; urgency=low * New upstream release. * debian/xsane.postinst: + Make maintainer script set -e. * debian/patches/06_fix_pdf_xref.dpatch: + Updated; this release fixes the single-page case but the multipage case was left out. -- Julien BLACHE <jblache@debian.org> Wed, 26 Nov 2008 22:35:41 +0100 Please unblock.
