raidutils: doesn't work on 64 bit archs (lenny, fixed in unstable)
This report seems correct: please allow raidutils 0.0.6-8 through the
freeze barrier into lenny.

Subject: raidutils: doesn't work on 64 bit archs (lenny, fixed in unstable)
Package: raidutils
Version: 0.0.6-6
Severity: important
Tags: lenny
[ please forward this to debian-release@lists.debian.org ]
The raidutils package builds on most or all current debian
architectures, but it doesn't work on any 64 bit arch.
This was reported earlier in bug #477105, which has been closed
because this has been fixed in 0.0.6-7.
The version in unstable is 0.0.6-8. Changelog:
raidutils (0.0.6-8) unstable; urgency=low
* Include amd64 plus all 32-bit (4-byte pointer) architectures listed in
http://wiki.debian.org/ArchitectureSpecificsMemo in debian/control
architecture field (closes: #495828)

raidutils (0.0.6-7) unstable; urgency=low
* do not ignore clean error in debian/rules (lintian)
* target only on 32-bit architectures, and those 64-bit architectures
that admit to a GCC -m32 flag (presently only amd64), because the
involved ioctl() is 32-bit even on 64-bit systems (closes: #477105)
* rev deb pol, rev to dh 7

Since this is a fix for a severity "important" bug in a package of
priority "optional", and the fixed package is available in unstable,
please include 0.0.6-8 in lenny.
Mike.
