The Debian project does verify it. That doesn't mean there are no bugs,
but they're clearly bugs. And, packages FTBFS in testing are tested and
either fixed or removed, that's why it's rare.


If you don't understand the way release management actually works (and
it does work), please just don't answer on mail to debian-release.

debian-release@l.d.o isn't a discussion list but the role account of the
release team. It might be time to enforce that a bit more.
