As we have 

DEB_SHLIBDEPS_INCLUDE := $(shell octave-config -p OCTLIBDIR) /usr/lib/atlas

in debian/rules and liboctinterp.so can be found in the octlib dir,
 mips/mipsel build-bots must be running dpkg 1.14.8 to 1.14.10 ...
