Hej, gnutls 1.7.17 has just been released and is a release candidate for v2.0 which is suppposed to be released on September 1th. soname is unchanged, but shlibs has been bumped. 1.7.x has been available in experimental for quite some time. Dependencies have changed a little bit from 1.6. It requires the new version of opencdk which is already in testing. I don't think this should cause problems since only libgnutls-extra.so.13 is using libopencdk and since opencdk is using versioned symbols. On top of that there is only a single package directly linking against libopencd8 except for gnutls itself. Anyway. I would like to upload this to unstable, unless now would be a rather bad time for shlib-bumps in important libraries. Please advise. thanks, cu andreas PS: Rescheduling apt 0.7.6 on hppa or uploading the hppa binary built on August 1 might clean up the dependency toplist. ;-) -- `What a good friend you are to him, Dr. Maturin.
