No, the package in unstable includes a change to the debhelper compat level
and undocumented changes to the Debian packaging.  This is not appropriate
for a freeze exception.

We obviously need 400835 resolved for etch, though, since the package in
testing is currently unusable.  A targetted fix by way of
testing-proposed-updates would be fine; the alternative would have to be to
remove the package from the release.
