Why is the most recent g-wrap still not compiled for m68k?

I have been criticized for focusing on specific cases.  The
generalities also point to an arch that simply cannot keep up.  I
thought I'd add some specifics, which are that the m68k team is simply
not doing what is necessary.  As the rest of the computing world
continues to advance, and the m68k does not, the porters will have to
do more, and more, and more.
