Thanks!  I've just uploaded e2fsprogs-1.37-2sarge2.

Unfortunately thanks to things like SE Linux, Samba, etc., the use of
extended attributes is much more common now, and so filesystem
corruptions which will lead to e2fsck core dumping are much more
likely.  (The bug was introduced in e2fsprogs 1.36, BTW).  I've been
getting a number of people reporting this bug as of late, from Debian,
Gentoo, and others.  Unfortunately no one detected it the
testing/unstable releases until after sarge had released.

When is the first stable update planned to be released?
