I did upload kaffe_1.1.4.PRECVS12-1 yesterday and it seems every arches
built (except arm but it's a problem with jikes).
There are two problems with this package:
o #301166: kaffe: Dangling symlink and missing manpage
for native2ascii
o Maintainer should maybe be changed to pkg-java-maintainers and not
pkg-kaffe-maintainers
The first bug was introduced by me. I added an alternative for this
program but I did not add a manpage. I'll contact upstream to know if
there is a manpage for native2ascii.
Talking with Jeroen van Wolffelaar, it seems Ean Schuessler did accept
the idea 'kaffe' to be maintained by pkg-java-maintainers. If I recall,
he did not want this because he was not an 'admin' of pkg-java Alioth's
project... If Ean changed his mind (he *is* a member of pkg-java, but
not an admin, and considering the way he is involved with pkg-java,
he'll not be!.. at a near futur ;-)) we'll have to change the maintainer
field to pkg-java-maintainers (and remove pkg-kaffe Alioth's project).
So, Ean, do you agree kaffe to be maintained by pkg-java Alioth's
project?
