It's generally deprecated to use other breakage as a reason to introduce
new upstream versions into sarge. The more we change sarge, the more
likelihood there is of *further* breakage. boost may happen to go in,
but I'm not going to guarantee it.

There wasn't much context in your mail; what's the new boost needed for?
