Having reviewed the diff between 0.4.1 and 0.5.2, I'm ok with pushing 0.5.2-3 directly into testing. The versioned shlibs issue doesn't seem to be release-critical in that case, since there is no version of libidn11 in a stable release that doesn't contain idn_free.
