Would this be done in the context of the upcoming 2.2.17 release? We
should hold bf 2.2.17 for this?
Other package updates needed by boot-floppies:
- kernel 2.2.17-1 (including i386 flavors, ports, and pcmcia modules)
Status: kernel-source is in proposed-updates, but not the images
nor the flavors! 2.2.17-1 for i386 and ide/i386 flavor was
uploaded but I'm not finding it...?
- pcmcia-cs at the maintainer's request, supports additional pcmcia
cards. Add to this of course pcmcia-modules-* matching the
kernels.
Status: 3.1.20-2 is in Incoming
- base-config
Status: in proposed-updates
- debconf
Status: in proposed-updates
- task-x-window-system-core
Status: in proposed-updates
My interest is that the kernel images get straight as quickly as
possible. I don't see how we can release by end of september if we
don't even have the 2.2.17-1 kernel yet. That's not something that
can be slid in last.
