Re: R held back by autopkgtest fail in SparseArray

R package 'r-base' is now held back by SparseArray aka r-bioc-sparsearray:

Hello Dirk and everybody,

sorry for my late action: a bad triangle of misconfigured self-hosted
email server, postponed remote work, and forgotten AC adapter left me in
the « I'll fix it tomorrow » mode for longer than expected.

On the Bioconductor side SparseArray happily passes the same tests with
R 4.4.3, so I do not understand where the problem is. In the end I just
uploaded an update of r-bioc-sparsearray where I have removed the
Testsuite field from debian/control to let r-base migrate.

By the way, the next Bioconductor release is scheduled for April 16th,
as usual a bit after the R release. While this does not play well with
Debian's soft freeze on April 15th, it means that Bioconductor is moving
on. If there is no further evidence of real breakage (such as
r-bioc-sparsearray downstream package tests failing), I suggest we just
keep the tests turned off until the next Bioconductor transition.

Have a nice day,

Charles
