| | | The process it that you upload 3.5.0 to experimental ASAP, and one of us opens
| | | a bug against the release.debian.org pseudopackage. Then we wait for the
| | | Release Team's green light (which can possibly take a couple or days, sometimes
| | | even a few weeks). Only then do you upload 3.5.0 to unstable.
| |
| | Excellent, that'll work.
| |
| | R 3.5.0 will be released Monday morning (your timezone) and I usually get to
| | it the same morning (my timezone). I'll poke you then. The alpha, beta and
| | rc releases for R 3.5.0 all worked without a hitch, so I expect no issues.
|
| R 3.5.0 was just uploaded to experimental.
|
| Can you please open the transition bug report against release.debian.org?
In case you need motivation for the bug report, doc/NEWS (lines 395-397) has
* The object header layout has been changed to support merging the
ALTREP branch. This requires re-installing packages that use
compiled code.
The package is now part of experimental.
