Bug#1117110: kf6-kwidgetsaddons: KRecentFilesMenu shows empty file names when a disconnected secondary display exists
Source: kf6-kwidgetsaddons
Version: 6.13.0-1
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: forestix@gaga.casa
Dear Maintainer,
KDE applications that have a recent files menu are showing empty file
names on some systems, due to a bug in KRecentFilesMenu:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=509320
The Recent Files menu in affected apps looks something like this:
[]
[]
[]
The Recent Files menu should look more like this:
stuff.zip [/home/user/stuff.zip]
my.tar.gz [/home/user/my.tar.gz]
stuff.tar [/home/user/stuff.tar]
This affects Ark, Kate, Okular, and surely other applications.
The bug has been fixed upstream, here:
https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kwidgetsaddons/-/commit/e55448c18f0666433f70b88b922a295033b456e2
Would you please consider applying that patch to Debian Trixie?
I believe it applies cleanly.
