Package: krfb
Version: 4:4.8.4-1+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

when I start krfb it crashes immediately. On the commandline I get

$ krfb
krfb(1808) KXMLGUIClient::setXMLFile: cannot find .rc file "krfbui.rc" for component "krfb"
KCrash: Application 'krfb' crashing...
KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib/kde4/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit
sock_file=/home/michael/.kde/socket-fuchsia/kdeinit4__0

It looks like a file defining the user interface is missing from the package.

I tried the 4:4.10.2-1 package, too, and get the same error there.

Michael

Dear Michael,

agreed that this is most certainly KDE bug:
    https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215288
affecting KDE avahi / DNSSD support.

It’s been fixed a long time ago so I’m marking the Debian bug closed on the
current stable version.

Feel free to respond here with more recent information that the issue is
indeed fixed or if you can still reproduce the crash.

Happy hacking !
