Package: kde-window-manager
Version: 4:4.8.4-3
Severity: normal

 Hardware: ATI Mobility X700
Driver: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV410

Steps to reproduce: (KWIN Effects + Fade is enabled by default)
1. Have at least two simple applications in your taskbar.
2. Press Alt+Tab two times. (Select the exact same application again.)
3. The application often doesn't refresh and the Window Switcher is painted
over it.

Note: This bug tends to happen less, the more applications you have open.

Workaround #1: 1. Disable Fade Effect. (Note: I currently cannot disable Fade
Effect because I'm using the Fade Effect as a work around for Debian bug
#690428 / KDE Bug# 295254

Upstream fixed this issue in the 4.9 release, so I'm closing the issue in Debian with the version of the upload that included the fix.

Happy hacking,
