Can you please try removing -DUSE_LD_GOLD=OFF from debian/rules?
(This should change bfd linker to gold and may help, as webkit2gtk builds
used to succeed with gold.)

I do not have a hardware capable of building webkit, and there does not seem
to be a porterbox with x32 support.
