Great - that did the trick! Many thanks for the pointer! Installing plasma-integration brought back all the icons in dolphin on my Fluxbox machine. Thus, I assume that the dolphin package needs some further depends/recommends to make it run smoothly on non-KDE systems. Best regards, Marcus
