Hi Laurent! For what I read in the web upstream is far, far away from it. I
have just wrote to the mailing list in order to see if my impression is
misleading anyways.

Except I'm wrong (I really hope so) I don't expect to see geoclue2 support
until Qt 5.6, due to the end of year.

I have just checked the source and geoclue's code is not embedded as 3rd party
code, so we don't have the option to keep it as an embedded code until we can
use geoclue2 :(

**BUT** currently nothing seems to be using which we can not fix:

$ ssh mirror.ftp-master.debian.org "dak rm -Rn qtlocation-opensource-src"
Will remove the following packages from unstable:

[snip packages provided by qtlocation]

Checking reverse dependencies...
# Broken Depends:
pyqt5: python-pyqt5.qtpositioning [amd64 arm64 armel armhf hurd-i386 i386
kfreebsd-amd64 kfreebsd-i386 mips mipsel powerpc ppc64el s390x]
       python-pyqt5.qtpositioning-dbg [amd64 arm64 armel armhf hurd-i386 i386
kfreebsd-amd64 kfreebsd-i386 mips mipsel powerpc ppc64el s390x]
       python3-pyqt5.qtpositioning
       python3-pyqt5.qtpositioning-dbg
qtdoc-opensource-src: qt5-doc
                      qt5-doc-html

# Broken Build-Depends:
pyqt5: qtpositioning5-dev
       qtpositioning5-dev (>= 5.3)
qtdoc-opensource-src: qtpositioning5-doc-html (>= 5.3.2~)

qtdoc is easy to fix and pyqt5 might be, I'll wait for Dmitry to pop in.

So we can do the removal now if you can do it *now*, unless a recerse
dependency appears.

Kinds regards, Lisandro.
