It sort of depends on what you prefer, and how confortable you are with our developing environment and tools. The call for help includes a list of tasks [1], that range among different requirements, the one to unify the TODO lists is probably one that has a high priority, and as a requirement you'll only need a wiki user and to use gobby to access the TODO list in gobby.debian.org Teams/KDE. On the other hand, if you prefer a coding challenge most of the bugs tagged as upstream [2] require a patch to be made in the upstream code. The list of requirements for this varies a lot, so it's hard to say. If I have to pick something for you, I would say, start with the TODO list, it would give you an overall idea of the things that need to be done and it would help other contributors to have easier access to the information.
