Bug#743397: kde-workspace: After connecting two external monitors (DisplayPort and VGA) all screens are turned off
Package: kde-workspace
Version: 4:4.11.7-1
Severity: important
I usually work at the office with two external monitors. I don't use laptop
screen.
Propably after upgrading to 4:4.11.7-1 (kde-workspace upgraded 01.04.2014) I
can only work with one external display.
When I connect one monitor (DisplayPort or VGA) it works fine (with or without
internal laptop display). After connecting the second external display all
displays go in to power-save mode (turn off). When I disconnect one of external
displays the other one turns on and works correctly.
I don't know which package of kde-workspace is responsible for screen
switching. Reverting kde-workspace to 4:4.11.6-2 don't help (I think it
shouldn't - some other package is responsible for it). It is difficault to test
all packages...
If somebody know what package is responsible for display switching, I can
revert it and test.
My laptop is equipped with dual-core processor i7 and Intel internal display
card.
