Bug#674692: libnepomuk4: Nepomuk complains about missing virtuoso server resp. virtuoso

I just ran into the same problem when uninstalling virtuoso.

After
sudo apt-get install virtuoso-vad-rdfmappers
the message about the virtuso RDF plugin missing disappeared.

Hence virtuoso-vad-rdfmappers seems to contain the missing dependencies.

This message marked as wontfix seems to be a duplicate: #671391,

As the problem is recurring it should be fixed.

In 671391 the following reason is given for not fixing:
"kde-runtime has already a recommend on virtuoso, and it's more than
enough given that
a) any KDE application depend on kde-runtime
b) the semantic desktop is an *optional* feature
So no, an hard dependency will *not* be added."

If the semantic desktop is optional and depends on virtuoso,
uninstalling virtuoso should disable the semantic desktop in a
consistent way.

Uninstalling libnepomuk4 will remove 150+ packages like kwrite and ark.
So if the semantic desktop is optional and depends on virtuosol
libnepomuk4 may not be the right place to put the dependency.

A package "semantic desktop" with the appropriate post-remove script
might be more helpful.

Why does Nepomuk show a warning at all if an optional feature is not
installed?
