Bug#609441: Pulseaudio

Here are the packages that are installed on PC2 (That's the most interesting PC at this time).

I was actually asking if you have it installed, so as to try to uninstall it.

~# dpkg -l | grep pulse
ii libpulse-mainloop-glib0 0.9.21-3+b1 PulseAudio client libraries (glib support) ii libpulse0 0.9.21-3+b1 PulseAudio client libraries ii vlc-plugin-pulse 1.1.3-1 PulseAudio plugin for VLC

Just in case: do you have alsa-base installed? I guess so, but better to check
:-)

~# dpkg -l | grep alsa
ii alsa-base 1.0.23+dfsg-2 ALSA driver configuration files ii alsa-utils 1.0.23-3 Utilities for configuring and using ALSA ii bluez-alsa 4.66-2 Bluetooth ALSA support ii libsdl1.2debian-alsa 1.2.14-6.1 Simple DirectMedia Layer (with X11 and ALSA options)

Now i must understand if pulseaudio is needed or which application will do the job.
As mixer runs kmix:

~# ps -ef | grep mix
karsten 5660 1 0 14:40 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/kmix

Here are the modules loaded:
