I tried it first, but without any change.
Akonadi crashes with a dump, perhaps we could find
the error there?

Eh, come on. SID works for me fine for years. Most errors
could be solved or workarounded easily.
What is your next suggestion? Using a simpler MUA
like Icedove. Perhaps I should think about it and
GNOME is also nice. ;-P
It would be better to have a save mode for Kmail there it
does the basic functions like mail without any akonadi and
MySQL stuff.
