Bug#518101: excessive flickering using kubrick

Hello,

I just discovered kubrick; however, when I try to play the area used by
the kubrick window flickers constantly -- making it very hard to use
(and giving me an eyeache/headache!).

I'm running on a Lenovo T61 laptop with:
