Bug#498130: [KDE] after update to KDE4.1.1 I cannot start KDE as a regular user
Hello,
> Sounds like you did not upgrade everything?
I did those steps:
1) run synaptics
2) choose kde category
3) sort by status
4) select all "installed" packages
5) mark them as "upgrade"
6) mark "superkaramba" as remove
After upgrade I couldn't login so I installed superkaramba back.
Again, note that regular users cannot start KDE session (KDM is
working), only root can.
> could you try run:
> dpkg -l | grep 4:4.1.
>
> And send the output. Send the X.log output as well.
See in attachments.
> Did you remove any package upgrading ?
Yes, but I installed them back (superkaramba) after first KDE start
session failure.
