  Yes, unfortunately there are no such -dbg for those drivers. Even with that, 
I still think that libgl1-mesa-glx-dbg should provided more info. Please 
recheck that's correctly installed and give us a bt full.

  The most plausible file looks to be ~/.kde/share/apps/config/kdesktoprc take 
a look there.
