Bug#481598: kdm: Shift Key doesn't work
Package: kdm
Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-2+b1
Severity: important
I can't type in upper case letters in the username field. The only
letters that can be written in uppercase are 'J' and 'N', every other
letter seems to 'ignore' the shift key.
It seems to be the same problem with the password field. My old password
doesn't work any more. I switched to an lowercase-only password and then
I was able to login again.
If I use caps lock to produce the uppercase letters, everything works
fine.
And no, my keyboard is not defect, everything works fine under all other
applications.
Sorry for my bad english :-)
