Package: kstars Version: 4:3.5.5-1 Severity: wishlist It would be nice to be able to retrieve information (sunrise or sunset) from the command line. For example if you could run 'kstars LOCATION SUN' to get the sunrise and sunset time for LOCATION. Location could be a coordinate or a city name stored in kstars. Why not querying about other celestial objects? That would be interesting for those who would write scripts or programs that need such data. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages kstars depends on: ii indi 4:3.5.5-1 Instrument Neutral Distributed Int ii kdeedu-data 4:3.5.5-1 shared data for KDE educational ap ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-1 core libraries and binaries for al ii kstars-data 4:3.5.5-1 data files for KStars desktop plan ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-13 GCC support library ii libkdeedu3 4:3.5.5-1 library for use with KDE education ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.7-1 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-13 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime kstars recommends no packages. -- no debconf information

Hi! Upstream has closed this with 'wontfix' as we don't want to carry such changes around as a patch in debian only, i am closing this bug now. Upstream seems to suggest another tool doing the job you are requesting. You can read more about upstream reasoning and stuff in the upstream bug at http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136648 /Sune -- Man, how might I receive from the OpenGL controller? You should load a button to save the RW file.Attachment: pgpqf7lrfLn0u.pgp
