Earlier versions of testing distributions did in fact read the /etc/profile file... Version: 4:3.5.5-1 You can set wether konsole should run bash or bash -l or how konsole should run your shell in the settings. And I don't see the big differnce in the environment, as kde should have sourced it on login anyway. Closing this bug. /Sune -- I cannot insert in the submenu from Windows, how does it work?
