Hi,

When you want to join a channel the channel has to begin with a prefix
(#, !, &, +). I'am missing that you can join a channel with just typing
the name.

Hi Marvin!

The #-prefix is IRC-lingo to separate users and channels. Thus doing this
cleanly would require splitting all user/channel input boxes into one for
usernames an one for channelnames.

Debian doesn't usually develop user level features in software with an active
upstream. If you want to support such a development, please start with
http://developer.kde.org/ or http://www.kde.og/jobs/

Since I don't think this is Debian stuff, I close the bug report.

Regards, David
